The people whose streams make up these numbers deserve to see exactly how they're computed, not just the result. This page explains the real pipeline, in plain language, kept in sync with what's actually running.
Public rankings cover Twitch and Kick, with channel, category and audience data.
Streams, categories and clips: fully live in every ranking on this site.
Livestreams and categories: fully live in every ranking on this site.
No hidden formula: this is the whole thing.
On Twitch and Kick, channels, categories and teams are ordered by concurrent viewer count captured at collection time. Nothing else factors into the base rank.
A scheduled job collects every platform's data every ten minutes. What you see is the latest completed collection window, not a live query. That's what keeps the site fast even under load.
The dashboard only ever reads the pre-computed result of that 10-minute job. It cannot show you a number the pipeline hasn't already produced.
Twitch and Kick export their data slightly differently. For example, language filtering is applied differently per platform internally.
The per-language ranking stores the top 250, and that cut is worth very different things in each language: measured on 27 October 2026, the 250th channel of the week averaged 229 viewers in Portuguese and 2,978 in English. So the same population is also split into bands by audience size, from under 5 viewers to over 2,000. A channel’s position is assigned inside its own band, across every channel in that band and before any truncation, and the band’s channel count is printed next to it so the position has a real denominator. A channel needs at least 3 hours live in the period to be placed in a band at all.
This isn't a claim: it's live. The badges below show the real collection window behind the Twitch and Kick numbers on this page, right now.
Some enrichment is fetched live, such as a channel’s live or offline status on Twitch and Kick. This does not mean the ranking is recalculated in real time.
Twitch and Kick show an indicator with the actual data collection window.
This page describes the ranking logic as it exists today. If it changes, this page changes with it, not the other way around.
